Converting a VW van has been in the planning stage for some time. We went to the NEC Motorhome show in 2018 to find inspiration. We looked at every VW van and conversion and had a lot of discussions. It was all a bit overwhelming and when we got home we reflected on all we’d seen and all of the reading material. Separately we both came up with only one option to give us all we wanted – Ecowagon.

So, we went to Cornwall to order in May 2019. Kenny and the team couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful, even Misty the dog was great!

Originally we had hoped for completion by end September but turns out the Spanish machine which does the edgebanding was not providing the ‘proper Ecowagon’ beautiful finish so we have ended up with a most amazing hand finished units, yes a bit delayed but so worth it.

We went again to the NEC this year and once more we didn’t think anyone else has the finish and attention to detail of the team Ecowagon. We also enjoyed meeting the friendly team, they are real characters and in their own way all helped us to realise our dream van with windows 🤣
